As part of the growth of our Hybrid Cloud \& Data practice (AI, Analytics \& Data Services), we are looking for a Junior to Intermediate Data Engineer – Hybrid Cloud \& Data to contribute to the development and evolution of modern data solutions.
Under the supervision of experienced Data Architects and Engineers, the successful candidate will participate in the design, development, and support of data pipelines that enable organizations to leverage their information for analytics, decision-making, and artificial intelligence.
Here is how you will be involved
- Collaborate with senior Data Engineers, Architects, and analytics teams.
- Participate in code reviews and development best practices.
- Document developed solutions.
- Gradually develop expertise in modern Data architecture.
- Data Development
- Participate in the development of data pipelines.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).
- Develop scripts and data processing components.
- Perform data quality validations.
- Resolve issues related to processing and integrations.
- Cloud Data Platforms
Participate in projects using
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Data Lake Storage
- Azure Databricks
- Power BI
- Azure SQL
Contribute to modern architectures
- Data Lakehouse
- Data Warehouse
- Medallion Architecture
- Data Integration
Your Experience
- University or college degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Understanding of relational database concepts.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts.
- Knowledge of Cloud environments (an asset).
- Knowledge of Power BI or BI tools (an asset).
- Knowledge of Azure Data Services (an asset).
You stand out through your
- Strong interest in data, Cloud technologies, and artificial intelligence.
- Technological curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingualism in French and English, as you will be required to collaborate with resources outside of Quebec.
