Sales Support Specialist - Industrial Automation

Description of the position

Do you enjoy supporting sales teams, finding solutions to customer challenges, and ensuring smooth operations? Join our industrial automation team and play a key role with our OEM clients across Eastern Canada.

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with sales, customer service, logistics, and product teams, leveraging innovative technologies, including AI tools, to deliver exceptional customer experiences and contribute to business growth. What will you do?

• Support the OEM sales team in their daily administrative and commercial activities.
• Manage customer follow-ups, submissions, business opportunities, and order-related requests.
• Coordinate actions with the Customer Care Center (CCC), customer service, logistics, finance, marketing, and product teams.
• Track and resolve delivery, service, and customer-related issues, escalating them as needed.
• Keep CRM data, opportunities, forecasts, and customer files up to date.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and business reviews.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and sales process efficiency.
• Utilize AI tools to automate tasks, enhance reports, and boost productivity.
• (External) French Qualifications: What qualifications will help you succeed?
• College or university degree in business administration, engineering, industrial automation, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, internal sales, or commercial operations.
• Experience in the industrial automation field, with OEM manufacturers, machine builders, or industrial distributors, is an asset.
• Strong customer orientation and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
• Proficiency with digital tools, including AI-powered technologies and tools.
• Functional knowledge of English and French is required. The individual must be able to work with diverse colleagues located in Quebec, other Canadian provinces, and internationally.

The expected salary range is CAD 102,850 - CAD 145,200 per year. This range includes the base salary and short-term incentives.
