Job Requirements

  • Provide exceptional service while ensuring that the property’s policies and procedures are followed.
  • Complete check-in and check-out formalities, receive payments, make or cancel reservations, and act as the main point of contact between our clients and the RV and cabin resort management.
  • Work proactively within the team by assisting colleagues, offering suggestions, taking the initiative, and taking responsibility for your actions.
  • Meet or exceed brand service standards.
  • Be familiar with and understand the products and services offered by the company and the RV and cabin resort.
  • Greet clients and perform their check-in/process their payments.
  • Make reservations by phone, online, and in person.
  • Write emails, letters, newsletters, posters, and other documents, as needed.
  • Pay attention to details and produce quality documents quickly using the company’s templates and following its standards.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and independence, good reasoning, and exemplary discretion.
  • Show excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and organization.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and compliance defect surveys.
  • Respond to customer complaints promptly, professionally, and courteously.
  • Communicate client concerns or comments to the manager.
  • Keep the reception area clean and well-organized.
  • Read all memos related to the reception and its proper functioning; communicate effectively with all units of the RV and cabin resort.
  • Record and reconcile client receipts on client notes; balance all client account reports daily.
  • Ensure the safety of clients and the property by controlling access keys, establishing secure key return zones, and following credit card verification procedures for third-party reservations.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent time management, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize them with minimal supervision.
  • Access to reliable transportation is essential.
  • Availability on weekends, flexibility for varied shifts, day and night, and possibility of working full-time according to company needs.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent secondary school certificate, or a combination of education and experience.
  • One to two years of experience in customer service.
  • Knowledge of the tourism/hospitality or camping industry is an asset.
