Technical Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Technical Team Lead to join our testing laboratory in Saint-Hubert, reporting directly to the Director of Engineering. This role focuses on developing, supporting, and optimizing technical solutions within the energy and industrial sectors, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the laboratory team (5 technicians, 1 engineer)
• Act as the technical authority and coordinate lab activities
• Design, improve, and document electrical test benches
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to testing systems
• Develop and maintain test protocols
• Conduct electrical testing and prepare technical reports
• Provide technical support for equipment
• Support automation and production projects
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong electrical & electronic engineering expertise
• Experience with high-voltage test benches
• Knowledge of LabVIEW
• Background in automation & control systems
• Leadership, autonomy, and attention to detail
• Strong safety mindset

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (required)
• 5–8 years of relevant experience
• Bilingual (French & English)
• Salary: $100,000 to $130,000 per year
• Location: On-site
