• Your Role

As an Injection and Blow Molding Machine Setter, you will be responsible for the installation, changeover, and adjustment of molds on production equipment. You will actively participate in production startups and ensure the proper functioning of processes to maintain plant quality and productivity.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes on plastic injection presses and blow molding equipment.
• Safely and efficiently mount and dismount molds.
• Connect water, hydraulic, pneumatic circuits, and heating or cooling systems.
• Perform alignment, centering, and mechanical adjustment of molds.
• Perform production startups according to established parameters.
• Conduct production tests and make necessary adjustments.
• Diagnose and correct molding or quality issues (flash, underfill, demolding defects, etc.).
• Perform mold cleaning, maintenance, and lubrication.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and process teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement of equipment and processes.
• Follow health and safety standards and locking procedures.

Desired Profile

• DEC in plastics transformation, industrial mechanics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in mold changes, plastic injection, or blow molding.
• Good knowledge of industrial mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to quickly resolve technical problems.
• Autonomy, thoroughness, and organizational skills.
• Team spirit and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a dynamic production environment.
