Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager and under the coordination of the Team Leader, the Forklift Operator is responsible for the reception, storage, preparation, and shipment of goods. They ensure the supply of production sectors, the safe movement of products, and the accuracy of inventories, while respecting the company's quality, health, and safety standards.

THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU

• Perform the reception, unloading, storage, and shipment of raw materials, finished products, and other merchandise.
• Prepare orders for customers and different sectors of the plant.
• Safely load and unload trailers according to established procedures.
• Store products in designated locations, following storage procedures and inventory rotation.
• Verify the compliance of received and shipped goods, ensuring their quality, quantity, and identification.
• Perform inventory transactions in the company's computer systems (GPAO, terminals, or other tools used).
• Conduct daily inspections of the forklift and report any anomalies or defects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and company-standard work area.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and propose optimization opportunities for operations.
• Perform any other related tasks requested by your immediate supervisor.

Your background

• High School Diploma (an asset)

Your knowledge

• Forklift operation;
• Experience in a manufacturing plant (an asset);
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, GPAO, emails, etc.);
• French beginner level 3, must understand short statements about activities or services related to daily life.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Mandatory use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to company policies;

Work Environment

• Work in an industrial setting requiring constant adherence to health and safety rules and the use of PPE;
• Frequent forklift movements inside and outside the plant;
• Exposure to temperature variations across different work zones.
