Your role
As a Warehouse Worker – Production and Warehouse, you will play an essential role in supplying the production lines, inventory management, and shipping and receiving activities.
You will be responsible for the safe operation of various types of forklifts and will directly contribute to the efficiency of the operations.
Main responsibilities
Production supply
- Supply the production lines with raw materials, packaging, and components.
- Feed the different manufacturing sectors according to production needs.
- Respond quickly to the demands of workers and supervisors.
- Ensure the availability of the material necessary for the smooth operation of the business.
Finished product management
- Collect finished product pallets in production.
- Transport the products to storage areas.
- Store the goods according to established locations.
- Ensure inventory rotation according to established procedures.
Warehouse, shipping and receiving
- Prepare and assemble orders for customers.
- Perform loading and unloading of trucks.
- Verify the accuracy of shipped and received products.
- Participate in cyclical and annual inventories.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory transactions.
Computer and inventory management
- Use barcode scanners.
- Perform transactions in the computer system.
- Locate products and update inventory movements.
- Check and correct inventory discrepancies as needed.
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
Safety is a priority at VIF Group.
The warehouse worker must:
- Always respect OHS policies and procedures.
- Perform a daily inspection of their forklift before use.
- Wear the required personal protective equipment.
- Respect speed limits and established traffic routes.
- Immediately report any dangerous situation or incident.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Apply locking and safety procedures when required.
Desired profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a warehouse worker.
- Experience with a standing reach truck (Reach Truck).
- Experience with a sit-down counterbalance forklift.
- Valid warehouse worker's card (important asset).
- Good knowledge of warehouse and production operations.
- Ability to use a computer and barcode scanner.
- Concern for accuracy and inventory management.
- Autonomy, diligence, and sense of responsibility.
- Excellent health and safety record.
- Team spirit and positive attitude.
- Warehouse worker agreement
- The holder of the position agrees to:
- Operate forklifts in a safe and responsible manner.
- Respect the company's health and safety policies.
- Perform a daily inspection of the equipment before use.
