As a Tanker Truck Driver Class 1, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of bulk liquids, adhering to delivery schedules and client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a tanker truck to transport bulk liquids to and from client sites.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload tankers using hoses or pumps, following safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries.
  • Adhere to all local, provincial, and federal regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain a stable workload by meeting mileage or driving hour requirements.
  • Be available for 24/7 operations as needed.
  • Flexible vacation schedules based on operational needs.

Requirements

  • Class 1 (CDL A) driver's license with Hazmat (Hazardous Materials) and Tanker endorsements.
  • Valid passport (United States or France) required to cross the border.
  • Minimum age of 23 years.
  • Compliance with all DOT (United States Department of Transportation) requirements.
  • Clean driving record demonstrating a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading tanker trucks.
