Sales Associate

Some of the tasks

• Provide exceptional customer service and enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Stimulate sales in the furniture, technology, and supply store aisles.
• Establish and achieve sales and margin goals with the store management team.
• Ensure operational excellence and adhere to the store's brand standards.
• Support all merchandising and display standards, including planograms and storage.
• Maintain health and safety, property protection, and confidentiality policies.

More specifically, you will be responsible for

• Interact and sell to all our customers by offering personalized products and services using all available tools and techniques in our sales model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• De-escalate situations calmly and assist in resolving complex customer circumstances to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively, or transfer the situation to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks such as dusting, restocking products to face them forward, and ensuring demonstration units are clean and functional.

Some prerequisites

• 3 months to 1 year of retail sales experience (preferably).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
