Make our community better by

• Developing specific education and prevention programs in dental hygiene based on established general programs;
• Assessing the oral health of residents and referring as needed (dentist or denturologist);
• Providing preventive care: scaling, polishing, fluoride application, diamine silver fluoride application, cleaning, and identification of dental prostheses;
• Training and supporting healthcare staff;
• Collaborating with the team to maintain oral health;
• Providing recommendations to improve oral health of residents;
• Managing inventory and orders.

Essential qualifications (Health and Social Services)

• Hold a college diploma (DEC) in dental hygiene techniques from a recognized school by the competent ministry;
• Be a member of the Professional Order of Dental Hygienists of Quebec;
• Valid driver's license and vehicle required (travels within the territory of Grand Saint-Hyacinthe as part of duties).
