Responsibilities
The court supervisor works all day outdoors. He is responsible for the smooth operation of the wood yard.
Receiving goods:
- Plan the receipt of stock and anticipate the placement of materials in the wood yard.
- Check the quantity and quality of the products. In case of poor quality, take the necessary steps.
- Have the supplier's vehicle unloaded. Ensure that the stock rotation is carried out.
- Orders to be delivered:
- Determine the priority orders to be prepared and assign orders to different preparers.
- Check the orders to be delivered to ensure compliance.
- Ensure that the vehicles are properly loaded with the prepared orders according to the routes assigned to each truck.
- Customer service:
- Ensure that the service is fast for consumers.
- Manage invoices and credit papers.
- Respond to customer complaints and ensure their satisfaction.
- Material management, facility maintenance & loss prevention:
- Prevent any damage or loss of inventory by providing sufficient workspace.
- Ensure proper inventory management: inventory taking, searching for discrepancies, etc.
- Ensure that checks are made on trucks and forklifts and initiate the necessary procedures in case of damage.
- Employee management:
- Establish work objectives and priorities and monitor their progress.
- Manage daily performance.
- Ensure the recruitment of staff.
- Organize team and individual meetings.
- Make schedules in accordance with the hour budget. Manage vacations. Approve absences.
- Ensure adequate training and development of your team.
- Health and safety prevention:
- Contribute to the identification of hazards and participate in the search for solutions.
- Responsibilize and encourage employees to adopt safe behaviors.
- Ensure compliance with SST procedures.

- You will have the pleasure of working in the sun. At certain times, the temperature can vary from desert to Arctic.

- You will always be on the move during your shift. Walking will be part of your daily routine!
- You must be able to lift loads up to 75 lbs.
- At Pont-Masson, forklifts are regularly maintained to prevent damage and accidents.
Requirements: This job is for you if
