Work at the Social Innovation House (SIS)
Founded in 2017 by major universities and philanthropic foundations, the Social Innovation House (SIS) is an expertise center that unleashes the power of social innovation to address society's major challenges. To do this, it supports leaders from all horizons to develop solutions that bring about concrete and measurable change in society.
Since its creation, the SIS has accompanied over 5,000 change actors. In 2024-2025, 75% of the clients supported by the SIS have implemented an initiative following their support. The SIS stands out as an organization primarily self-sustaining, generating revenue through the sale of consulting, training, and solution creation services.
Working at the SIS means evolving within a culture of collaboration, co-learning, and continuous experimentation, within an engaged, creative, and rigorous team. It also means being part of an entrepreneurial organization driven by the values of boldness, inclusion, and agility, and guided by a vision of systemic transformation.
In the fall of 2026, the SIS will open its social innovation hub: 6,500 sq. ft. in the east end of Montreal, secured for 4 years thanks to a strategic partnership with Desjardins. The hub will be able to accommodate up to 90 people and will bring together organizations, social entrepreneurs, and engaged companies.
We are recruiting a business development manager to activate the commercial potential of the hub and the SIS's commercial offer more generally.
