Senior Project Manager – Environment and Contaminated Soil Management

• Your role within our team

Reporting to the department director, the Senior Project Manager – Environment and Contaminated Soil Management will ensure the complete management of projects related to environmental assessment (Phases I, II, and III), characterization of environments (soils, water, sediments), and rehabilitation of contaminated sites.

Remote work offered, or possibility to work from our offices located in Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu or Quebec.

Responsibilities related to the position

• Plan, organize, and follow up on all stages of environmental assessment, characterization, and rehabilitation projects;
• Prepare service offers and participate in service calls;
• Ensure smooth communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors;
• Ensure compliance with project deadlines, budgets, and technical requirements;
• Coordinate and supervise technicians and subcontractors on site;
• Compile data, interpret results, and write reports;
• Perform budget tracking and proceed with project billing;
• Participate in site work when required (drilling, sampling, etc.);
• Act as a technical reference in the environment within multidisciplinary projects;
• Collaborate actively with other departments in an integrated approach;
• Apply and promote best practices in occupational health and safety.

Requirements and education

• Bachelor's degree in geological engineering, environmental science, or a related field;
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in environmental management and contaminated soil management (Phase I to IV);
• Good knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations;
• Excellent organizational and priority management skills;
• Strong relational, communication, and collaboration skills;
• Autonomy, initiative, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment;
• Advanced proficiency in the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
