Career at Mondou

• 4,888 human and animal connections + 2,500 visits to our wonderful animals in-store + 5,000 licks, feathers, and scales of various sizes and claw sizes.
• A lifestyle oriented towards well-being: Balancing personal, family, and school life is important to us, and the workload is well-distributed over a full-time (28 to 40 hours) or part-time (15 to 20 hours) schedule. Additionally, you will be eligible for collective insurance coverage and our telemedicine service from the first day worked for all full-time positions because the well-being of our employees is important to us!
• Enrich your knowledge in the animal world, develop skills through the Mondou Academy. Are you curious by nature and have a thirst for new knowledge? Do you find learning new things easy? We have an Academy dedicated to training our staff on various topics such as nutrition, canine/feline behavior, etc. Our brand is built on our strong expertise in advisory roles on products and services, as well as the personalized customer experience that our employees bring to life day after day in-store.

A daily routine that looks like this

• Welcome customers warmly, understand the needs of their four-legged companion (feathered companions, no worries, no discrimination!), and offer your sound advice;
• Use your merchandising skills to execute the planograms provided by the marketing team;
• Enhance the customer experience during transactions at the checkout;
• Live and embody the values of Mondou day after day, both with customers and your team;
• Receive orders and place merchandise.

Your DNA

• Have experience in customer service and with a cash register (asset);
• Possess experience with animals (asset);
• Have experience in nail trimming (asset);
• Have studied in sales, business management, or the animal field (asset);
• Have the ability to connect with people and build good interpersonal relationships;
• Consider that good collaboration among colleagues and teamwork are essential to achieve an organization's goals;
• Have the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities and have a great sense of organization;
• Communicate easily in French (English is an asset);
• Be comfortable lifting heavy loads.
