What is the job opportunity about?

This unique position calls upon your client-focused sales expertise and innate problem-solving skills to optimize every customer interaction. Specifically, you assist clients by addressing their needs in areas such as banking services, credit, and investments. As an RBC ambassador, you create value at the most critical moments for clients and collaborate with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals. Whether you show a client how to use digital banking services, integrate a new client, or recommend a complex investment opportunity to a specialist, you will contribute to delivering a positive and memorable customer experience that fosters customer satisfaction and loyalty.

What will be your tasks?

  • Take the initiative to engage with clients across all areas of the branch and the community to discover their banking needs, provide assistance and advice, and identify sales and referral opportunities
  • Educate clients, including through demonstrations, and leverage technology to deliver a memorable customer experience, drive sales, and foster customer loyalty
  • Respond to customer requests by enabling them to perform a full range of financial transactions
  • Practice active listening and initiate conversations with clients to better understand their needs
  • Take ownership of resolving and preventing issues related to clients' banking services
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals
  • What do you need to succeed?

Requirements

  • Mutual Funds Sales License or willingness to obtain one (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
  • Concern for putting the client first, and success in a sales-focused environment with a practice and goal orientation
  • Problem-solving and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships and forge connections proactively with clients
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, keen sense of ethics, and drive to succeed
  • Knowledge of a wide range of digital devices (i.e. smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
