We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting food preparation, and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, attention to cleanliness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards
• Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks under supervision
• Support kitchen staff with food prep activities such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or organizing supplies
• Ensure all kitchen areas are sanitized and organized according to health and safety regulations
• Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen tidy
• Maintain a clean work environment by regularly cleaning workstations and storage areas
• Follow food safety guidelines at all times to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met

Requirements

• Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary
• Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings or weekends if needed
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role
• Pay: $16.60-$19.00 per hour
