Salary Scale: Between $25.68 - $37.69 CAD per hour worked
You will be responsible for inspecting various items upon receipt. A visual inspection of the condition of the items must be performed, along with a verification of the contents of documents, certificates of conformity, raw material acceptance tests, etc.
Our reception inspectors must stand out for their rigor, attention to detail, customer approach, leadership, and autonomy.
Your Daily Routine
- Verify the accuracy of the certificates of conformity we receive (purchase order number, products, quantities delivered, serial numbers, shelf life, expiration dates, etc.)
- Verify that all test reports (physical, chemical, mechanical, electrical, process control records, statistical process control records) specified on the receipt document or according to the client's requirements, are received in the final condition required on the purchase order.
- Validate that all documentation is properly linked to the received products, client requirements, delivery note, and receipt note. Ensure there is traceability of products between the manufacturer and distributor.
- Verify if the received product is identified as suspected counterfeit on the receipt document.
- Verify that the product has been manufactured, treated, or purchased from an authorized source. To identify authorized sources by L3 MAS: Refer to the purchase order text.
- Inspect all returned calibration equipment.
- Perform inspections required by the client and be able to use DND documents.
- Inspect raw materials, ensure the presence of grain direction, and be able to perform hardness tests.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum four (4) years of experience as a reception inspector in an aerospace company or hold a professional diploma in the aerospace industry.
- Good mastery of computer systems such as SAP and MS Office;
- Experience within the aerospace industry, or in an environment where different client specifications must be applied;
- Knowledge of standards regarding the control of dangerous goods (SIMDUT).
Admissibility Criteria (Mandatory)
- Be admissible to registration in the Controlled Goods Program;
- Be admissible to obtaining and maintaining the Canadian government's Reliability and Security Secret Level II / Secret NATO ratings;
- Must be able to meet the requirements of the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
