PLM Solutions Architect

In particular, our PLM team, our client base, and the complexity of projects are growing, and a solutions architect plays a crucial role in the success of projects. To support our continued growth, we are looking for ambitious and motivated individuals to join our team.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as the lead architect on small or complex projects
• Use requirements and use cases to identify standard solution patterns and architectural approaches to define solutions, validate them, and identify missing patterns that need to be created.
• Describe the process changes that need to be made and help the client drive organizational change.
• Define and review design specifications and pass them on to the project team, engaging in the development and testing of the solution to ensure the continuous integrity of the architectural solution and address technical issues until they are resolved.
• Ensure the completeness of the overall architectural solution design
• Coordinate implementation and modification of the architecture activities
• Review, categorize, and prioritize client product issues reported by PLM consultants, coordinate root cause analysis, define an appropriate solution approach, and communicate with clients
• Mentor PLM Consultant team members as the architectural authority for PLM solutions applied to an industry
• Stay up-to-date with solution architecture practices, keeping abreast of the latest technical trends, processes, and industry developments.
• Establish, build, and maintain effective relationships with internal or external client technical peers and establish new relationships through a network within the client and other stakeholders to support effective delivery
• Support pre-sales efforts and the proposal process.

Desired Profile

• Bachelor's degree or confirmed experience in engineering, computer science, or management
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a solutions architect or equivalent, providing complex PLM software solutions or products.
• Knowledge of computing, CAD, CAM.
• Experience in an engineering, industrial, or manufacturing environment
• The position requires strong interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in English (the position requires regular interaction with colleagues, suppliers, and clients established outside Quebec, across the country, and abroad.)
