Salary for the Position

The salary for this position will be determined based on a set of factors, including: professional experience, skills, anticipated contribution to the role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is for a 35-hour work week and may apply to the majority of different candidate profiles, but we encourage candidates outside this salary range to apply.

Salary Range (without limitation) 43,600 - 53,200

About the Position

We are currently looking for an Accounting Service Representative I for our Cime Finance Operations department, who will play a crucial role in supporting our growth.

What You Will Accomplish With Us

• Respond to inquiries received by phone and in writing from clients and brokers.
• Contact clients and brokers by phone and email to arrange payment agreements.
• Understand clients' needs and provide appropriate advice in a timely manner.
• Process documents related to cancellation and/or termination transactions.
• Process and verify payments received accurately.
• Manage follow-up collections efficiently, ensuring all relevant elements are considered in decision-making.
• Prepare various collection letters.
• Verify and enter bank information, review new accounts or policies, and modify payment schedules.
• Handle and resolve certain payment-related issues, including payment agreements, payment methods, and discrepancies between accounts or policies. Perform necessary transactions to support the resolution of received requests and agreements.
• Subject to Automatic Call Distribution (ACD).

What You Will Bring to the Table

• DEP in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Attention to detail and efficiency in a high-volume work environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
• Proficiency in standard office software or training in such software.
• Bilingual (French and English) Required to answer calls and provide service to an anglophone clientele on a regular basis.
• No Canadian work experience required, but need to have the authorization to work in Canada.
