The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacture of major components of landing gear for the Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, and the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
You will perform, using manual air tools or semi-automatic equipment, the roding of the attachment points of the main components of landing gear, according to specifications. This operation requires a high level of precision to create the exact dimensions of the rings that will later be installed to accommodate other mechanical parts.
You will also be called upon to:
- inspect parts using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications
- machine using a lathe and set rings
- apply sealant
- complete appropriate Quality Assurance documentation
- contribute to continuous improvement of operations and achievement of safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery objectives
Job Requirements
- DEP in aircraft structure assembly or a DES (Non-Equivalency Certificate not accepted) with relevant experience
- Experience working manually with pneumatic tools in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with manual roding or assembly in aeronautics is an asset
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring instruments (vernier calipers and micrometers)
- Good manual dexterity

Weekend Day Shift: Friday 14h10-20h10, Saturday 6h20-18h20, Sunday 6h-18h
Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the shift may change (day, night, or evening)
- The hourly wage for this position starts between $29.52 and $39.73, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and your progression in acquiring skills related to the position, the hourly wage will increase up to a maximum of $45.12.
