Production Journeyman

The Pro-systems factory manufactures self-supporting screens and dividers as well as components for the production of Artopex office furniture.

Depending on production needs, you may be called upon to perform various manual tasks related to material transformation, assembly, and operation of simple machines.

Schedule: Monday to

Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and from 7:00 AM to 11:45 AM on Friday

Evening Shift Schedule: 3:45 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday to Thursday

Salary: 23.24$/h + a night shift premium of 1.25$/h

• Your Role:
• Cut various materials (fabric, wood, felt, plexiglass, acrylic);
• Perform the various assembly steps of the screens;
• Clean, inspect, and package finished products;
• Operate machines used for material transformation;
• Adjust and configure machines according to production cards;
• Verify the conformity of configurations and make the necessary tool changes;
• Ensure basic maintenance of equipment and ensure their proper functioning;
• Respect quality, health and safety, and production standards;
• Perform any other tasks requested by your immediate supervisor;
• Your Profile:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment;
• Comfortable with measurement units and able to use a measuring tape;
• Able to lift loads up to 50 lbs;
• Possess good manual dexterity;
• Demonstrate precision and attention to detail;
• Have a good capacity for adaptation and versatility;
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a positive work environment;
• Show initiative by actively participating in continuous improvement and proposing optimization ideas.
