Assembler/Packer

Schedule: 40 hours/week during the day with the possibility of having Friday afternoons off.

Salary: $22.27/hour at hire

Your Role:

The Laval plant manufactures metal components for our Artopex office furniture. You may be called upon to contribute to various stages of production, such as:

• Receive work sheets and/or work instructions for material transformation;
• Collect and verify the quality of components needed to start the process;
• Assemble parts and furniture according to drawings;
• Inspect furniture according to the inspection method displayed in the department;
• Check pieces, assemble, and pack accessories for all products according to orders, while respecting the inspection methods displayed in the department;
• Any other related tasks.

Your Profile

• Possess great manual dexterity;
• Excellent eye-hand coordination and physical condition (ability to move loads of 50 lbs);
• Good understanding of quality control principles;
• Master the use of a measuring tape;
• Demonstrate autonomy.
