The DOT driver is responsible for the safe delivery of liquid bulk products between Linde's production plants and customer sites.

What you'll love doing

• In this role, you will work up to 70 hours per week, 14 hours per day, according to a posted work schedule in a 4 days on/4 days off rotation or a night work schedule of 4 days on/3 days off
• You will perform required equipment inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• You will enter and exit the cab multiple times per day, using a 3-point contact system at a height of 3 feet above the ground
• Additionally, you will handle hoses weighing up to 50 pounds as part of your daily tasks
• You will stand outside for 90 minutes straight to monitor loading and unloading processes
• The safe delivery of cryogenic and refrigerated liquid products to customers is part of your role
• You will complete all required documents, including TDG documents, travel reports, fuel tickets, and other necessary reports
• You will use computerized systems and electronic logs to meet delivery and compliance requirements
• Additionally, you will always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing your duties
• You will conduct on-site equipment inspections and identify potential repairs for customer tanks
• You will also cross U.S. borders if necessary, which involves obtaining a FAST card and meeting U.S. Department of Transportation requirements
• You will work away from your base for extended periods if necessary

What makes you a strong fit

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent experience
• You possess a valid, incident-free provincial driver's license of class AZ for at least 36 months, with 24 months of relevant driving experience on similar equipment
• Additionally, you have at least three (3) years of experience driving liquid tanker trailers, including tractor-trailers
• You have completed training on the transportation of hazardous materials (THM) and the Hazardous Materials Information System for Use in Transportation (HMISUT)
• You have a clean driving record, with no violations
• You are a valid FAST card holder
• You are registered and compliant with the FMCSA information exchange center requirements
