Description

In collaboration with various stakeholders, the advisor acts as a support in various activities related to health and safety. He ensures a preventive approach and compliance with health and safety regulations. He is also responsible for maintaining and developing SST programs.

  • Conducts accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and analyses, and assists in implementing corrective measures;
  • Conducts SST risk analyses on various workstations and proposes necessary preventive measures;
  • Conducts SST training;
  • Develops, updates, and disseminates health and safety rules and procedures;
  • Develops, implements, and applies health, safety, and workplace hygiene policies;
  • Works closely with different departments to identify best SST practices and promote their adoption;
  • Maintains and manages various SST-related programs, such as ergonomics, locking, machine safety, SIMDUT, emergency measures, and others;
  • Advises on all health and safety activities related to prevention and laws and coordinates associated activities;
  • Updates and creates KPIs in the field of health and safety;

Job Requirements

  • College or university studies related to the position (e.g., occupational health and safety, industrial relations, industrial hygiene) or relevant experience;
  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment. Equivalent experience will be considered.
