As a supervisor, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the store manager to develop the talents of great people, provide a uniform and exceptional customer experience, and have a positive impact on the growth of Bath & Body Works. You will be at the helm of the on-the-ground leadership team and make the brand shine with your excellent retail knowledge and passion for customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Assume leadership tasks as delegated by the store manager, including acting as an on-duty store manager during scheduled hours to address customer experience issues, vendor relations, or store maintenance.
• Collaborate with the sales management team to support action plans that optimize results and ensure effective management of operational activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including bank deposits and receiving shipments, and communicate company directives.
• Establish the day or shift direction and goals when staff are on the floor.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to managers regarding individual and team performance.
• Create exceptional customer experiences through sales behaviors rooted in our values and deep product knowledge.
• Build authentic relationships with customers by understanding their needs, providing product information, demonstrating, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Train, reward, and motivate staff to improve sales and customer experience.
• Set sales, performance, and accountability goals for each team member.
• Maintain good physical fitness, including the ability to stand for long periods, walk, reach for and lift objects. Climb ladders, lift objects, bend, kneel to reach products, and maintain visual presentation in the store. Lift 10 lbs (4.5 kg) repeatedly and sometimes up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg).
• Provide a consistently safe, immaculate, and welcoming experience by adhering to safety standards and expectations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in achieving sales and operational results and creating an exceptional customer experience in a dynamic environment.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the retail industry.
• Comfort in a customer-focused retail environment.
• Ability to foster a customer-focused sales culture.
• Effective communication, openness to feedback, and adaptability.
• Ability to train staff in real-time.
• Skill in defusing difficult situations in-store and with customers.
• Availability during peak days and hours, including evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Education

• High school diploma, Canadian Adult Education Certificate, or relevant work experience.
