CYMED is seeking a full-time registered nurse to join its team at a private medical clinic located in Montreal.
The selected individual will participate in daily clinical activities and work in collaboration with physicians, healthcare professionals, and the administrative team. We are looking for an autonomous, rigorous, organized, and patient-centered individual focused on the quality of care and patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for consultations, examinations, treatments, or procedures;
- Collect, assess, and document medical history, symptoms, allergies, medications, and other relevant clinical information;
- Take, monitor, and interpret vital signs and other clinical measurements;
- Assess the physical and mental condition of symptomatic individuals, in accordance with the scope of nursing practice;
- Provide clinical supervision and promptly report any concerning changes to the physician or relevant professional;
- Administer medications, treatments, and substances in accordance with prescriptions, protocols, and applicable standards;
- Perform injections, blood draws, vaccinations, wound assessments, dressings, and other interventions within the scope of nursing practice;
- Initiate or perform applicable diagnostic and therapeutic measures, according to prescriptions, protocols, skills, and services offered by the clinic;
- Assist physicians and other professionals during minor examinations or procedures;
- Prepare examination rooms, clinical equipment, and necessary supplies;
- Provide patients with information and instructions regarding their care, treatments, and follow-ups;
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date clinical documentation in the medical record;
- Implement infection prevention and control measures;
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth flow of consultations and continuity of care.
- Required Qualifications
- Recognized nursing diploma;
- Valid registration with the Tableau de l’Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec;
- Eligibility to practice nursing in Quebec;
- Strong clinical judgment and high professional rigor;
- Autonomy, reliability, and effective prioritization;
- Ability to work collaboratively with a medical and administrative team;
- Excellent sense of confidentiality and professionalism;
- Courteous, reassuring, and patient-centered approach.
- Assets
- Experience in private medical clinics, ambulatory care, or frontline care;
- Experience with injections, blood draws, vaccinations, dressings, or wound care;
- Experience with intravenous treatments, if these treatments are part of the clinic's services;
- Experience with electronic medical records;
- Knowledge of English is an asset for occasional communication with anglophone patients. French remains the working language.

Salary: $65,000 to $80,000 per year
