Your daily tasks

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Freightliner, Western Star, and other heavy vehicles.
• Use cutting-edge diagnostic tools to quickly identify defects.
• Repair or replace mechanical components such as engines, transmissions, differentials, suspensions, steering systems, and braking systems.
• Perform mechanical inspections and recommended maintenance.
• Perform software updates and calibrations of various electronic systems.
• Conduct road tests to validate the quality of repairs.
• Complete work orders accurately and maintain rigorous tracking of interventions.
• Collaborate with technical advisors, foremen, and other mechanics to provide fast and quality service.
• Participate in training offered by Freightliner, Western Star, Detroit Diesel, and our BL Academy to stay at the forefront of new technologies.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and support team members when your expertise can make a difference.
• Respect health and safety standards as well as workshop procedures.

Your assets

• Education level: professional, DEP or equivalent in experience;
• 2 to 5 years of experience (or more) in mechanics, ideally in heavy vehicles;
• Functional French spoken and written;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Autonomous and resourceful;
• Analytical ability and ability to take initiatives;
• Always adopt safe behaviors.
