Early Childhood Educator

JOB TITLE: Early Childhood Educator STATUS: Long-term replacement, full-time, 4 days/week.

WORKING HOURS: 32 to 35 hours 1. JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Director, the educator ensures the health, safety, and well-being of the children, implements the educational program of the facility with the aim of supporting the overall development of each child under their care.

2. EDUCATION:

• IDEALLY: College diploma (DEC) in childhood education techniques or equivalent.
• Meet the criteria for absence of disability under the law.
• Valid first aid course, including management of severe allergies.
• 3. REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Knowledge and experience in applying the Ministry's Educational Program.
• Ability to establish and maintain a significant relationship with children aged 0-5.
• Skills to develop and maintain a relationship of trust and collaboration with parents and all staff of the CPE.
• Knowledge and ability to carry out the educational intervention process: observe, plan, intervene, and reflect.
• Demonstrate the ability to reflect/analyze interventions during discussions with colleagues.
• Collaborate with partners and other professionals.
• Be autonomous, organized, and creative.
• High adaptability.
• Perform any other related tasks.
• 4. WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Working conditions and remuneration are determined by the applicable collective agreement;
