What Will Your Days Be Like?

  • Ensure the application of the collective agreement and SST regulations while contributing to maintaining good working relationships.
  • Act as the main supporter of the safety process to support the company's SST culture.
  • Monitor health and safety and productivity indicators.
  • Supervise a team of approximately 20 employees, distributed across three different departments.
  • Monitor performance and quality indicators.
  • Validate the time cards of employees under your supervision.
  • Plan and organize production to meet delivery deadlines, quality standards, and productivity goals, providing technical support to employees.
  • Manage unexpected replacements.
  • Ensure effective management of absenteeism and discipline.
  • Lead weekly and daily meetings at the dashboard with employees.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects using tools such as Kaizen, SMED, and 5S.

What Are the Job Requirements?

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions.
  • Demonstrate rigor, organization, autonomy, and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully to be recognized as a mobilizer within the work team.
  • Hold a college diploma in industrial management, industrial engineering, or administration (an asset).
  • Have 3 to 5 years of experience in supervision, in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Have experience using Kaizen, 5S, and SMED (important asset).
