• *Permanent Position - La Pocatière and Saint-Cyprien*

We are looking for a passionate human being in the field of helping relationships, who is able to quickly build trust with others and believes in the potential for rehabilitation. Are you able to demonstrate flexibility in your approach with others and is your composure in crisis situations recognized?

Whether with adult or youth clientele, you may be called upon to support, monitor, ensure discipline, accompany, and animate users who are entrusted to you. You will have to support intervenors during various events or when a situation requires it. By your leadership qualities, you will be able to intervene according to the rehabilitation objectives pursued and sometimes even physically when the situation requires it.

You will respond to some of the users' needs according to the rehabilitation objectives pursued. You may provide basic care to users, including hygiene and feeding. In case of need, you may intervene physically when the situation requires it and conduct searches on users or physical locations when requested. Finally, you will be called upon to observe the user's behavior and report your observations through significant reports to the continuation of their treatment.

Requirements

• Hold a high school diploma (DES) or equivalent (TENS), OR
• Hold any other relevant diploma in studies recognized by the competent ministry (AEP, DEP, ASP, etc.), OR
• Hold a high school diploma level 3 or TDG (General Development Test) and significant and relevant experience of at least five (5) years in the labor market.
• Holding a Bureau de la sécurité privée (BSP) security permit is an asset.
• Hold a valid driver's license

Additional Information

• Be available to work minimally 2 days per week,
• Be available to work 2 shifts out of 3 (day/evening/night), with the night shift being mandatory for the first two years. To improve your work schedule, it is recommended to also be available to work the evening shift,
• Be available to work 1 weekend out of 2.
• Citizenship: It is mandatory to possess Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or a work permit issued by the federal authority to hold this position.
