As an Electrical Team Lead at Creaform Engineering, a division of FARO Creaform, you will be at the heart of the design, supervision, and quality of electrical projects for various environments.

In this key role, you will be both a technical leader and a team manager. You will support your team on a daily basis, ensure the technical consistency of deliverables, optimize processes, and actively participate in project organization. Your influence will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, talent development, and operational performance. Nicolas, your future manager, is known for his team spirit and his ability to bring people together. He has been with Faro Creaform for eight years. He started as a team lead and is now responsible for operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the electrical team, supporting their development, performance, and engagement
• Plan resources, allocate workload, and optimize design methods
• Supervise electrical design projects, from needs analysis to commissioning, ensuring quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards in the manufacturing environment
• Participate in cost estimation, technical proposal preparation, and support for sales teams
• Continuously improve departmental tools, processes, and operational practices
• Serve as a technical reference for both internal and client projects
• Some aspects that will facilitate your integration at FARO Creaform
• Is a member of the OIQ (an important asset)
• Bilingual
• Holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• Has approximately 7 years of experience in electrical engineering
• Has experience in team management or a team lead role
• Experience in custom project estimation
• Knowledge of electrical safety and engineering standards, including ISO 12100, CSA Z432, ISO 13849
• Proficiency in one or more electrical design software (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, Solidworks electrical, or equivalent)
• Comfortable with occasional travel to clients
