Notary

Baro RH is seeking a notary to join a recognized firm offering legal and notarial services to individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses across Quebec.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling a variety of cases and serving as a trusted advisor to the client base. You will actively participate in the execution of diverse mandates while collaborating with an experienced team in a professional environment focused on service excellence and the quality of advice provided.

You will operate within a specialized firm, particularly in the support of businesses, asset management, and estate planning, offering services both in person and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of and follow up on cases independently
• Advise and support clients in the context of their various mandates
• Draft, review, and prepare the documents required for cases
• Conduct research, verifications, and analyses as needed
• Ensure deadlines are met and case compliance
• Maintain effective communication with clients and other parties involved
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality service
• Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and professional practices

Profile sought

• Hold a notarial law degree and be a member in good standing of the Quebec Bar Association
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a notary
• Demonstrate autonomy, diligence, and excellent professional judgment
• Possess excellent writing and communication skills in French
• Be recognized for your organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Have a customer service-oriented approach and a focus on finding solutions
• Be proficient in the computer tools used in professional practice
• Demonstrate a strong sense of collaboration and professionalism
