Under the supervision of the Manager, Accounting & Finance - Operations, the Accountant is responsible for consolidating, verifying, and analyzing the accounting information of designated business units, which is then used to plan, develop, and control the company's operating budgets. Main Responsibilities

  • Support the tracking and reconciliation of spa sales and cash flow on a weekly basis, ensuring the integrity of the records
  • Support billing activities and client account management
  • Perform end-of-month activities and prepare financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles (fixed assets, CAPEX tracking and depreciation, reconciliations, receivables and payables supervision and payments)
  • Analyze financial statements
  • Produce TPS-TVQ reports and ensure compliance with government tax regulations
  • Track accounts in the general ledger (e.g., administrative expenses, credit cards, discounts...)
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and end-of-year audit documents
  • Support process improvement initiatives and actively participate in the implementation of new accounting systems or management software (ERP)
  • Participate in the mentoring and technical training of a junior accountant

Desired Profile

  • DEC in accounting, accounting certificate, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position
  • At least 2 years of experience in team management
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Suite
  • Strong communication, adaptability to change, and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrate mobilizing leadership and maintain a team spirit by motivating the team to achieve objectives
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel between locations
