Summary

The person in this position has the primary mandate to carry out the assembly activities necessary for the manufacturing of projects, while contributing to the quality and continuous improvement of the department.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic assembly of projects based on work instructions and available plans;
  • Perform light machining on certain assembly parts;
  • Ensure the quality of the assemblies performed in accordance with established standards;
  • Document the execution of tasks rigorously;
  • Actively participate in the department's continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Perform any other related tasks in support of projects.

Required Skills

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in a relevant technical field (electronics, mechanics) or equivalent experience;
  • 5 to 8 years of recognized experience in the field;
  • Good manual dexterity;
  • Knowledge of reading plans (an asset);
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness, and concern for detail;
  • Team spirit and openness to learning;
  • Functional bilingualism (French and intermediate English) to collaborate with teams;
  • Great curiosity and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, particularly artificial intelligence.
