What will you contribute to the team?
*Senior Professional* *- Engineering - Electrical Systems Integration* is a versatile role within the Electrical Systems Integration team. This team is responsible for the development, certification, improvement, and maintenance of the industry's best standards for power generation and distribution systems and aircraft lighting architectures. Our team supports all Bombardier products. In this role, you will be tasked with:
- participating and leading technical improvements and developments of electrical systems for our existing and future aircraft programs (architecture optimization, integration of new technologies, etc.),
- preparing, reviewing, and approving engineering documents related to modifications of electrical systems on our Challenger 3500/650 and Global 5500/6500/7500/8000 aircraft (production and in-service aircraft),
- proposing, developing, and testing innovative approaches to optimize our business jets on aspects such as emissions reduction, costs, weight, performance, customer satisfaction, etc.,
- conducting technical investigations related to electrical or lighting systems,
- performing comparative studies related to the introduction and integration of new technologies on aircraft,
- contributing to the electrical knowledge domain to capitalize on lessons learned and industry best practices (products and processes), and mentoring junior team members,
- managing relationships with internal and external partners for technical aspects,
- representing the electrical discipline to internal and external stakeholders.
How will you thrive in this role?
- As an ideal candidate, you:
- hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering,
- have at least 7 years of experience in electrical systems integration or related experience,
- have in-depth knowledge of relevant industrial standards (RTCA/DO-160, SAE, MIL-STD, etc.) and with regulations and advisory documents related to airworthiness (TCCA, FAA, EASA) for electrical systems,
- demonstrate excellent analytical and systemic thinking skills to structure complex problems and ensure clarity of communication between disciplines,
- communicate effectively, adapting technical concepts and project updates to various audiences, and clearly presenting progress and risks to stakeholders at all levels,
- demonstrate leadership and are motivated to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

- Based either at Bombardier Toronto, Ontario or at Bombardier Montreal, Quebec
- The position is currently hybrid: remote work and on-site work
