What will you contribute to the team?

  • Develop and manage program strategies, schedules, and budgets for a portfolio of projects.
  • Manage the project portfolio within the program office by applying management functions: plan, organize, direct, and control.
  • Govern your work package, define performance indicators to track progress and results, and prepare the required documentation (agenda, strategy, proposed schedule, profitability analysis, etc.).
  • Develop and present program schedules and profitability analyses (business cases), and guide multidisciplinary teams toward achieving established milestones.
  • Lead and facilitate project integration, evaluation, and execution in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage risks and opportunities associated with your project portfolio.
  • Provide support and establish priorities for team members, both internally and externally, and act as a mentor to junior analysts.
  • Solve complex project-related problems by leveraging your expertise, experience, and professional judgment.
  • Control program costs (labor, materials, and other direct costs), support negotiations with suppliers and other stakeholders, and evaluate impacts related to schedule, technical scope, and commercial aspects of the program.

How will you thrive in this role?

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, project management, or a relevant discipline.
  • You have a minimum of five (5) years of direct experience in a complex manufacturing environment (preferably in aerospace), including project and program management.
  • You demonstrate proven experience in project management, operations management, and contract management.
  • You show a strong interest in developing your skills and acquiring new knowledge in project management methodologies and financial governance.
  • You have direct knowledge of aerospace industry manufacturing processes on the production floor, an asset.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication, facilitation, influence, and stakeholder management skills at all levels, as well as the ability to lead and mobilize without direct hierarchical authority.
  • You demonstrate a constant interest in aerospace industry trends and continuous improvement.
  • You have the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and effectively overcome obstacles and unforeseen events.
  • You enjoy roles with a high level of responsibility.
  • You are recognized for your initiative, autonomy, innovation, and practicality.
  • You possess an analytical mindset focused on performance indicators and result tracking.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams tools, including MS Project.
  • You are able to work on-site at the CA facility (Montreal) at least two (2) days per week, and more as needed.
  • You are willing to undertake professional travel up to 25% of the time, in Montreal or internationally, as required by the company.
  • You have the ability to work in Spanish and/or French is not required, but is an asset.
