What are your contributions to the team?

  • Daily advise, support, and influence production and internal service teams to promote a high-performing preventive SSE culture
  • Conduct SSE audits and inspections with internal stakeholders
  • Act as a technical specialist to clients and colleagues on topics such as: ergonomics, machine safety, industrial hygiene, environment...
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external collaborators based on trust and respect (clients, union party).
  • Ensure legal compliance of the site in SSE through audits and corrective action plans.
  • Participate in project governance to ensure the application of regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the Local SSE Committees of the assigned sector.
  • Perform on-site qualitative and quantitative risk analyses.
  • Apply a rigorous risk management approach: identification, implementation of mitigation measures, and monitoring of their effectiveness.
  • Develop specific safety instructions for tasks to support prevention.
  • Participate in accident investigations and the establishment of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of the SST program and tools.
  • Support internal alignments by ensuring the application of SST processes. (Operational procedures and system management requirements).
  • Perform trend analyses of SST data to identify emerging risks and improvement opportunities.

How will you thrive in this role?

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in SSE or a related field (ex: relevant ASP construction certification).
  • Master French (oral and written)
  • Have at least 5 to 8 years of experience, preferably in an ISO and unionized manufacturing environment
  • Have strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Be solution-oriented and committed to continuous improvement
  • Be autonomous, structured, and capable of coordinating the implementation of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Have the ability to set priorities and re-evaluate in response to new demands in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Have the ability to simplify and synthesize
  • You have excellent computer skills
