We are looking for an Electrical Quality Inspector to join our team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). You will work in collaboration with production, methods, engineering, and quality teams to ensure the compliance of electrical installations and embedded systems.

Your Role

As an Electrical Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for verifying the compliance of electrical installations, harnesses, equipment, and systems according to the plans, technical specifications, and aerospace industry regulatory requirements.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of electrical installations.
  • Verify the compliance of electrical harnesses, connectors, wiring, fasteners, and installed equipment.
  • Control products according to electrical plans, wiring diagrams, procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections.
  • Perform continuity, identification, routing, and cable protection checks.
  • Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality deviations.
  • Complete inspection documentation and ensure the traceability of operations.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and aerospace regulations.
  • Participate in root cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

  • DEC, DEC, or technical training in avionics, electromechanical, electrical, or related field.
  • Experience in quality inspection or electrical assembly in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
  • Good ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of electrical system installation and inspection methods in aerospace.
  • Proficiency with measurement tools and test equipment (multimeter, continuity tester, etc.).
  • Strong French; English is an asset.
  • Rigor, autonomy, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.

Assets

  • Experience on Airbus, Bombardier, or Boeing programs.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 standards and aerospace regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with quality management and non-conformity systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Solumina, or a MES/ERP system.
  • Experience in functional testing and validation of electrical systems.
