Job Overview
The Representative, Deductions and Collections will be responsible for managing one or more retailer accounts at the regional and national levels. Additionally, the role holder will provide support to the team lead in the day-to-day operations of the service. They will be responsible for collection activities, claim processing, and client deduction reconciliation within established deadlines.
We offer the possibility of telecommuting, at a frequency of one day per week, depending on organizational needs.
How You Will Contribute to Our Success
- Assist the team lead in all processes related to deduction reconciliation and service collection
- Provide support to the customer account team, as needed
- Be responsible for an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and ensure daily tracking of claims, invoices, and deductions
- Clearly document all relevant information related to customer accounts
- Ensure analysis and reconciliation of accounts within the assigned portfolio
- Identify problematic cases and resolve them or propose an action plan to the team lead
- Collaborate with sales, finance, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure proper customer account management
- Produce various weekly and monthly reports
- Promote excellent customer service, both internally and externally
- Participate in achieving service goals and continuous improvement
- Perform any other related tasks
- You Are the Ideal Candidate If You Possess the Following Qualifications:
- College diploma in finance or a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, solid analytical and decision-making abilities, autonomy, and initiative
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Dynamism and strong work ethics
- Results-oriented and team spirit
- Knowledge of credit, collection, and deduction practices
- Knowledge of AS/400 systems, EDI, and customer portals (an asset)
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite
- Functional bilingualism (French and English), both orally and in writing, essential since the role holder will need to communicate with clients and sales teams by phone and email in Quebec and across Canada. Most of the documentation received from retail accounts outside Quebec is only in English

Salary: $48,505 – $63,635
- Salaries may vary based on experience, education, skills, and training.
