Full-time day shift (replacement) employment opportunity.

As a human relations agent in the youth protection program, you will work with children aged 0-18 who are affected by neglect, rejection, and physical, sexual, and/or psychological abuse and behavioral disorders, as well as their parents. Additionally, you will work with a diverse bilingual clientele from various communities (cultural, ethnic, LGBTQ2SIA+, etc.) across the Montérégie territory.

Implementation of measures

• Apply the Youth Protection Act, the Health and Social Services Act, and the protocols that follow
• Provide psychosocial services to youth aged 0 to 18 and their families, with the possibility of working specifically with childhood or adolescent clientele
• Analyze, design, and update individualized intervention plans
• Accompany families in the goal of ending the compromising situation of children
• Follow families for short, medium, and long-term periods, depending on the prescribed measure
• Build relationships and assist in longitudinal changes

Requirements

• Essential traces (requirements in Health and Social Services):
• University terminal diploma in criminology, social services, sexology, psychology, or psychoeducation, or having completed a bachelor's degree by accumulating certificates (in relation to intervention and recognized by the Ministry of Health and Social Services)
• Valid driver's license and car
• Bilingualism is an asset
• Availability in the evening according to the needs of the clientele

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrate diligence
