Why is this role important?

Nurse

We are looking for a nurse to perform blood draws, assess vaccination status and health status to offer indicated vaccines such as flu, covid, pneumococcal, zona or according to travel destination.

Offer different services related to hypertension, diabetes or anticoagulotherapy.

Perform education on the use of different glucose or blood pressure monitoring devices. Welcome patients in a professional and caring manner. Work in collaboration with the pharmacy team to develop the service offering.

What you will do

• Assess health status and offer appropriate vaccines such as flu and zona;
• Identify and offer appropriate vaccines according to travel destination;
• Offer various services related to hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and anticoagulotherapy;
• Perform education on the use of different devices such as glucometer, tensiometer, etc.;
• Welcome patients in a professional and caring manner;
• Work in collaboration with the pharmacy team to develop the nurse service offering

Requirements

• Be a member of the Order of Nurses and Midwives of Quebec
• Hold a DECC or Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Have knowledge of PIQ and health-travel
