The CHUM is currently looking for administrative agents to join its great team. We currently have several full-time replacements to fill. We offer placements on the waiting list.

As an administrative agent, you will have the opportunity to work in different sectors, including within care units, outpatient clinics, laboratories, admission, radiology, customer contact center, appointment center, and archives.

You will have the opportunity to assist one or more professionals or a team in their administrative and professional functions. You will be responsible for the tasks related to the preparation and processing of files or data requiring specific knowledge.

Depending on your sector of assignment, you may be called upon to, for example:

  • Welcome and direct visitors and users;
  • Receive and direct telephone calls, using computerized systems, paging systems, and public address systems as needed;
  • Coordinate appointments, admissions, leaves, transfers, exams, and consultation requests;
  • Prepare files and complete forms;
  • Perform computer data entry, digitization, filing, and reproduction of documents;
  • Ensure communication between different intervenors and services;
  • Order office supplies and materials.

Requirements

High school diploma (DES) or equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Education of Quebec (MEQ) OR equivalent of studies completed outside Quebec issued by the Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion (MIFI).

Relevant experience to the job, an asset.

Basic computer skills (test to validate).

Good communication skills, marked aptitude to work in a team, autonomy, and ability to manage stress well.

Candidates will be subject to pre-selection tests (Excel, Word, French, and typing speed).

Required Availability

You must be available to work full-time (35 hours/week) on the day shift (from 6:00 AM) and also on the evening shift (until midnight).

Night shift availability is also required for some sectors, so it is an asset.

Your availability must include one weekend every two weeks.
