What You’ll Do

  • You will lead the technical scoping of complex opportunities, aligning clients and internal teams on what success looks like.
  • You will design the high-level architecture of the concept and evaluate the cost of the solution
  • You will keep every solution aligned with industry standards, regulations, and security best practices.
  • You will identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • You will develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate technical decisions
  • You will visit client sites (up to four times per quarter) to strengthen relationships and see the environment first-hand.
  • You will establish the references, standards, and methods the team relies on to move faster.
  • You will radiate the Application Engineering team’s needs in the product roadmap and contribute to the development of applications

What You Bring to the Table

  • A bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical, automation, robotics, or manufacturing engineering – or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls or robotics.
  • A strong business acumen and deep knowledge of machine design.
  • A strong ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project and technical issues.
  • Exceptional client communication skills and a customer first mentality.
  • A curiosity to learn, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to contribute to something meaningful.
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written.
