Student Electrician Refineries

The student electrician supports the electrician in construction, modification, repair, and maintenance of electrical installations.

Main Responsibilities

• Installation, verification, and repair of heating cables;
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and complete test and maintenance reports;
• Install electrical and control and measurement instruments on new or existing equipment and integrate them into processes;
• Work closely with the instrument technician;
• Any other related tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical/electronic plans and schematics;
• Proficiency in computer skills and various maintenance software;
• Responsible and self-motivated;
• Ability to manage stress;
• Knowledge of Google Suite (an asset);
• Education (completed or in progress) as an electromechanic, electrician, or any other relevant experience.

Work Environment

• Temporary position, duration of one month.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
• The position holder spends 90% of the time in a factory environment.
• The position holder spends 10% of the time in an office environment for report writing.
