Prevost, a division of Volvo Canada Inc., is currently looking for an Industrial Mechanic to join its NIGHT shift team at its main facilities in Sainte-Claire.

What You Can Expect

Our Industrial Mechanic installs, modifies, and maintains equipment and buildings according to safe methods and specifications.

Some Responsibilities

• Determines the method for repairing equipment by referring to appropriate documents such as: plans, diagrams, requests, work instructions, etc. Repairs include mechanical, hydraulic, and welding work (different processes) but exclude electrical repairs.
• Diagnoses equipment problems using known methods and manufacturer manuals.
• Performs repairs on equipment, buildings, and tools to meet manufacturer specifications. Checks and adjusts the operation during and after operations to ensure the repair meets the required standards.
• Installs new equipment according to the required specifications.

What You Need

• Industrial Construction and Maintenance Mechanical D.E.P. and one year of experience in industrial mechanics.
• or
• Maintenance Analysis D.E.C. and welding courses and six months of experience.
• or
• Industrial Mechanics C.E.P. and one year of experience.
• or
• Industrial Mechanics A.C.E. and one year of experience.
• or
• Automated System Electromechanical D.E.P. and one year of experience in mechanics.
