Aliments Sofina Inc. is currently seeking a Production Planner / Demand Analyst. Under the authority of the Planning Manager, the incumbent of this position ensures the daily planning of production. They also plan the demand and manage production capacity for the entire Poultry Division. The objective is to maximize production capacity and ensure the achievement of the sales plan, while having visibility for the planning of purchases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan production for the short and medium term to meet customer needs;
- Ensure the optimization of operational efficiency and maximize the use of raw materials (poultry);
- Produce production schedules for the different plants;
- Maintain constant communication of required information with all stakeholders (operations, sales, SAC, purchases, logistics, etc.);
- Handle inter-plant transactions and external raw material purchases;
- Perform analyses (sales, production, BO) as requested by the department;
- Prepare the master plan and ensure that its requirements generate adequate demand in the ERP system (proper parameterization);
- Analyze and confirm promotional volume requests to achieve the poultry division's sales plan objectives;
- Evaluate capacity and resource planning and organize a weekly meeting on sales, inventory, and operations (S&OP);
- Regularly lead meetings to review forecasts with internal sales teams to align with future demand planning;
- Monthly analysis of sales history vs. forecasts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (a different combination of education/experience may be considered equivalent);
- Possess between 5 to 7 years of experience in planning, forecasting, and capacity and replenishment management;
- Have knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle/JDE is an asset), forecasting systems, and logistics chain;
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power BI, and PowerPoint);
- Have an advanced level of English due to the nature of the tasks and work tools.
