PepsiCo is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to join its dynamic and motivated team.
Responsibilities
- Here's what you can expect in your new role:
- Perform mechanical or electrical inspections and maintenance of all factory equipment;
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance work;
- Respond to all repair, troubleshooting, or modification requests required by operations;
- Make technical modifications to equipment as specified;
- Adapt preventive maintenance for designated equipment;
- Ensure your safety and that of your colleagues.
Qualifications
- You are the person we are looking for if:
- DEP in electromechanical or DEC or AEC in electromechanical and/or instrumentation and control and/or in instrumentation, automation and robotics;
- Experience of 1 to 3 years in a similar position (asset);
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers and general knowledge in mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics;
- Skills in welding and willing to use computers or other technologies;
- Good physical condition (able to lift loads of 30 to 50 lbs);
- Work Schedule and Location:
- Hourly wage: $36.21/hour + Night shift work premium (1.15 $/hour) and weekend premium (1.00 $/hour) for hours worked on weekends;
- Work schedule: Monday to Thursday night shift (9:30 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Full-time position year-round: + Possibility of working overtime.
