Our client, a leading Quebec company in the extrusion of components for the doors and windows industry, is looking for a Shipping and Logistics Supervisor to join its growing team.

Your Role:
You will be responsible for planning and managing human and material resources related to shipping, receiving, and hardware management activities.
You will supervise a team of approximately 25 employees spread across day, evening, and night shifts, with the support of shift supervisors.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and organize work to optimize service levels while controlling costs
- Ensure the availability of materials in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Monitor performance indicators and implement necessary corrective actions
- Supervise receiving and shipping activities across all shifts
- Manage schedules, vacations, and workforce needs
- Monitor productivity, employee development, and training
- Coordinate maintenance and availability of shipping equipment
- Participate in the recruitment and integration of new employees
- Foster a positive work environment focused on collaboration and communication
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and track operational issues
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Desired Profile
- Technical training in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervision in a shipping, warehousing, or logistics environment
- Experience in a unionized setting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Experience with an ERP system
- Positive and motivating leadership
- Excellent relational and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of health and safety at work
