Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst (12 to 14 month contract)

Project Summary CGI is seeking a motivated, curious, and meticulous finance professional to join its Corporate Financial Services team to support CGI's global internal functions.

This is a 12 to 14 month contract offering the opportunity to collaborate with several business units and corporate teams to support decision-making through financial planning, forecasting, financial analysis, and report production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial projections for the executive vice presidency.
• Provide accurate and timely financial analyses by comparing results to budgets, plans, and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data and develop financial models to support decision-making.
• Provide financial recommendations and analyses to operational teams.
• Present results in a clear and concise manner.
• Analyze balance sheet accounts and ensure the integrity of the balance sheet.
• Participate in the development and implementation of performance management tools.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at operational efficiency.
• Produce ad-hoc analyses and reports as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• CPA designation or in the process of obtaining it considered an asset.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role as a financial analyst or business partner.
• Excellent financial analysis skills.
• Proactive approach to collecting and validating financial information.
• High sense of responsibility and commitment to quality.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or Oracle Hyperion considered an asset.

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, as well as professional licenses and certifications. Salary decisions depend on the particulars of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $60,000 and $105,000.
