Your Mandate

Under the authority of the head of the Advisory and Support for Activities and Projects (CAAP) department of the Information Technology Direction (DTI), the person ensures that information systems, software and technological architectures, and databases comply with the information security standards of the direction. More specifically, they oversee the quality of IT products and services according to the standards, norms, and procedures in place. They design, plan, and follow up on audits related to procedures, existing processes, infrastructures, and IT developments of the DTI. They ensure that information security directives and policies are known and respected. They are also tasked with managing change in this regard. In collaboration with the security advisor, they participate in prioritizing activities related to information security. Finally, they develop and document the various operational plans related to their area of activity.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and evolve information security policies, directives, and procedures.
• Raise employee awareness of cybersecurity issues (training, campaigns).
• Create and provide the necessary training to adopt good practices.
• Participate in the development of dashboards for management.
• Participate in internal and external audits and follow up on non-compliance.
• Communicate risks and issues in a simplified manner to non-technical parties.
• Lead risk and damage analyses.
• Production of security advice.
• Perform any other tasks as requested by your immediate supervisor.
• Your Profile

Knowledge

• Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or any other relevant field.
• Any missing years of education required for the bachelor's degree may be compensated, on a case-by-case basis, by two years of relevant work experience.
• Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in information security.
• Significant experience in document writing.
• Have up-to-date knowledge in the field of information security.
• Be familiar with architecture standards and norms and establish network usage procedures for users to ensure its security.
• Master the spoken and written French language.
• Functional knowledge of the spoken and written English language is an asset.
